Rob Sgobbo comes to Columbia Journalism School after writing for theĀ Norwood News andĀ Mount Hope Monitor in the Bronx, and New York Art Beat in Manhattan. While contributing to these publications, he taught for two years in a South Bronx elementary school through Teach for America. In 2009, Rob graduated from Pace University with a master’s degree in education, and is a 2007 graduate of Haverford College, where he holds his bachelor’s degree in politics. Originally from Princeton, New Jersey, he currently resides in Morningside Heights.__
