Lauren Kirchner is reporting for The Uptown Chronicle in West Harlem this year. She has previously written book reviews for The L Magazine and the Richmond Times-Dispatch, and political satire for The Huffington Post. Kirchner graduated from Wesleyan University with a degree in Philosophy. She has also produced several talk shows for Air America Radio and performs improv comedy.
